On the Day

Is there a charging station for electric/ battery powered mobility aids?

Emergency charging is available at our information tent at the finish line.

Is there a place in which we can drop off non-racing wheelchairs and other aids for participants who have chosen to race in racing wheelchairs?

Yes, please follow the gear drop instructions based on your chosen racing category.

How does gear drop work?

Located on Tangihua Street, attach your gear tag from your bib onto your belongings. Auckland Joggers and MainFreight will handle the loading of all items onto the trucks. Two gear trucks will be available:

Truck 1 leaves at 8:45am for Elite/Competitive mobility users and runners.

Truck 2 leaves at 9:45am for joggers, Walkers and Noncompetitive mobility aid users.

What are the best access points for elite/competitive and non-competitive mobility aids?

Elite/Competitive - Mahuhu Cres (outside Spark Arena) and access the start line over the bridge.

Non-competitive - Britomart Place, behind the walkers category.

Are there accessible toilets?

Yes, we have portable accessible toilets available at the start line, finish line and dotted throughout the course.

Is there accessible parking?

We highly recommend that you make use of our free transportation services for this event - your race bib will give you access to buses and trains across Auckland. We also have pre-event shuttles from the finish line to the start, as well as post-event.

We understand that public transport is not always possible and suggest utilising the surrounding roads and paid parking structures, e.g. Downtown Car Park. Otherwise, we recommend that you are dropped off.

I have dietary restrictions and allergies. Can I bring my own food?

Yes, of course you can. At this finish line you will also find an array of food trucks and a coffee van should you wish to purchase food.
