6 reasons to get in the zone at Southern Cross Round the Bays

Photograph of hospitality site

1. Ultimate team building event

Celebrate with your staff, clients, family/friends after the race. Share food, drinks and sweaty high-fives.

An event that your team will continue to look forward to every year.

2. Fun at every turn

With epic entertainment at the start line, along the course and at the finish line, it’s actually impossible not to have fun!

We love seeing people get dressed up – what will your team wear?

3. For all ages and fitness stages

This inclusive event brings together everyone from families pushing kids in prams, to Harry Hardouts and everyone in between.

Your team takes on the flat 8.4km course at their own pace, then you all get to hang out at the end and celebrate.

4. Easy for you

With packages from DIY through to all-inclusive – pick what works for your team. Each site fits around 30 people, so book as many sites  as you need.

We will help you create the most epic zone for your team!

5. Great for hauora

Health and wellness is a priority for so many businesses, but it doesn’t have to be boring!

RTB is great for the mind, body and spirit. It's a chance for colleagues to meet and spend time out of the office, be active and achieve something together!

6. Everyone can take part

With our Virtual app, even those team members outside of Auckland (or even New Zealand!) can take part.

Reluctant team mates? That’s okay too! They can play their part by helping set up your hospo site.

Will my team enjoy this?

Taking part in this event is part of our people engagement strategy. It’s awesome to have everyone out and about and connect with staff across the business. If we didn’t book a hospo site it would be so hard to meet up afterwards! This way we know we have a spot, the BBQ is cranking and we can all relax and celebrate together.

Round The Bays is a key part of our Healthy @ CCEP programme throughout the year and an excellent way to create engagement with our people. The run allows us to connect, not only with each other, but also with our families. It’s something we look forward to every year.

Mainfreight have been coming to Round the Bays for a very long time. It’s an event that our team looks forward to every year. Having a space for our team and their families to come back to after the race and connect with each other is one of the reasons why we keep coming back year after year.

Frequently asked questions

  • Madills Farm is a short walk from the finish line and it’s the dedicated after-party zone for corporates, businesses and groups looking to celebrate their achievement. The walk is signposted from the finish line and it’s known as the ‘Fan Trail’ as everyone is on a post-run high! Check out the map

  • We recommend 30 people per site. If you have more people, just book multiple sites and we’ll make sure you’re grouped together.

  • We have four package options available to suit your team’s needs and budget, from DIY grass sites, all the way to a full marquee with a BBQ, serviceware, and tables and chairs set up for you! See hospo package details above.

  • You’ll need to go here, add the hospitality sites you want to your cart, and follow the steps to Checkout. As easy as that!
